The project included: initial investigation into current methods of Bought In material, WIP and Finished goods valuation. Responsible for implementation of the Inventory elements of a bespoke Materials Resource Planning (MRP) system. 

With particular effaces on Managing the Stock Takes, Data Entry, Communication between MIS / Project Manager and users, managing expectations, troubleshooting and easing roll forward of focus to the next function (Stores to Purchasing, Purchasing to Production Scheduling etc). Having started the ball rolling on MRP, attention was turned to developing a specification for a Job / Batch costing system incorporating shop floor data collection.
