National Telebank

National Telebank was a trading division of Granada UK Rental & Retail.  It operated nationally through a network of regions and branches, renting televisions and video recorders.  It had a turnover of £35m and a customer base of 137,000 accounts. 

The project included:  a Management Accountant role to produce period management accounts; a period business monitor incorporating key statistics relevant for performance measurement; period branch profit/loss statements; ad hoc projects such as testing the profitability of new ventures through models.  Much emphasis was placed on presentation of information and ideas, both to management and the field.
